My US Tourist Visa Interview

Unfortunately, for the second time, I was denied with my US Tourist Visa. :(

The first one was way back 2009, my brother and I were denied with a US Visa because of the conflict of School schedule and Travel plans.

And now, Here I am again.

Taal Volcano Experience

Our Film makers Club we're assigned to make a TVC to represent our LGU in a tourism contest in Batangas. My co-teacher, who is the head of the club, tagged me along this project. We must show the "Places and Culture" of our Municipality in a 30-second video. of course, we shot different activities and places which we think, that our municipality is proud of. One of it is the Taal Volcano. Being the only municipality which has a legitimate baranggay in the Taal Volcano, we are dubbed as the "Gateway to Taal Volcano". Anyway, so we set a day to go up the Taal Volcano to shoot some scenes for the TVC.

Where to Eat in Cavite: Island Cove's Fishing Village

I recently went to Cavite to receive a new blessing, Thank You, Lord! (and Thanks Mom!)

So, after our "Appointment", my Dad brought us to Island Cove for lunch since it is on our way home. It is me and my brother's first time to go to Island Cove. There are (I think) two places where you can eat in Island Cove, one is Sangley Point (I should try this next time) and the other one, which our dad chose, FISHING VILLAGE. Actually, the Lechon sa Buho picture in front of Island Cove is very inviting. hahahahaha.

Isn't it?

Panay Island Adventure Part 2: ANTIQUE and ILOILO

This is the second part of my Panay Island trip with my friends. Part 1 HERE :)

PANAY ISLAND PART 2: ANTIQUE and ILOILO

So we left Boracay Island after eating lunch, we rode a boat back to Caticlan Jetty Port and walked to the CERES Bus Terminal bound to Antique. Actually, my friend told me that there are two options, either ride a UV Express (which costs more or less P250.00) or Bus. but unfortunately, we couldn't find where the UV Express are parked so we opted to ride the Bus also because we are in a hurry.

LZM Lutong Bahay

Looking for a good place to eat in Tagaytay?

Since My friends and I are going to Tagaytay, they asked if we could have Bulalo for lunch. So I immidiately thought about going to Mahogany Market since there are a lot of Bulalo Eatery there. But I also asked a close friend of mine, (hi, Jhong!) if he knows any good Bulalo places in Tagaytay. He recommended this restaurant in Silang, Cavite in which we tried on our way to Tagaytay.

Bag of Beans's Blueberry Cheesecake

As what I've said in my previous post, One of my most favorite cakes is the Blueberry Cheesecake of Bag of Beans. Luckily, my former workmates in Starbucks planned a "Tagaytay Getaway" since one of us will be going home to Cagayan De Oro for good. So we decided to go foodtripping in Tagaytay.

Estrel's Caramel Cake

Honestly, I am no longer a fan of desserts. I just love having them whenever I am drinking coffee or tea.

But there are only three cakes which I really really love.
(1) Conti's Mango Bravo
(2) Bag of Beans' Blueberry Cheesecake

and the star of this Post,

(3) Estrel's Caramel Cake!!

being a Public High School Math Teacher

Let me tell you how it is to be a Public High School Math Teacher.

Whenever I enter our campus, I always pass by a sign like this:

(Not the actual sign, i forgot to take a picture of it. oops.

It is a constant reminder for me and my colleagues that we should still, and always, be happy with our chosen profession.

But, of course, problems are definitely inevitable. there will be a lot of times that you may question yourself why are you still choosing to be a teacher. Anyway, let me tell you a little something about being one.

Starting a Blog

I'm Bored.

That is why I had an idea of starting this blog.

Actually, I have a lot of things to do, but I am feeling bored.

Being a Teacher and a Student at the same time makes my "work pile" high. it's just that sometime i really have to detach myself from my "work mode" to my "home mode". I feel like it is really hard to focus to do my work tasks at home. I feel like after the whole day teaching and telling the kids to listen makes me just want to rest and relax at home, even though I shouldn't.

Anyway, The question is,
What would this blog be about?

As a Teacher, Student, Son, Friend, and Brother, I felt the need for an OUTLET of my everything. My Frustrations, My Travels, My Foodtrips, My Rants, My Experiences, and everything I feel sharing to the world.

This blog would somewhat be my "Portfolio" of my adventures that I hope would help other people to learn and realize things. I would like to share my learning experiences as I also rely on other blogs if I need help on anything. :)

Or maybe I just need a compilation of my "happenings" so that i can view it anytime I want to and reminisce :p

Anyway, I hope that I can be at help to other people. I hope I can entertain you with this. because again,

I'm Bored.
